Punganur Lake is an artificial lake situated in the centre of Yelagiri Hills. It is one of the major attractions in Yelagiri. It is just at 1 km distance from Athanavur Station. It is famous for the boating experience. You can take pedal boat or motorboat for ride.
There is lot of activities which you can do near the lake side. As there is adventure park zone where you and kids can enjoy various rides. There is playing garden where kids can play games and enjoy free rides. Opposite to Lake there is dashing car activity also.
