Yelagiri Thayar Samedha Sri Venkataramana Perumal Temple is one of the most visited temples of Yelagiri. The temple is dedicated to lord Vishnu and Yelagiri Thayar. Lord Perumal idol is large which can be seen easily from some distance also. This temple is built in 2011. It is said that there is a temple at the same location centuries ago as while constructing this temple, an idol of deity Kesava Perumal along with some lamps were excavated.
In the temple there is separate sannathis for Thayar, Andal, Chakkarathalwar, etc. There is an idol of lord Krishna dancing on the top of Kaliya Naag. There are other beautiful sculptures in the premises of temple. Visitors are treated with Prasadam of Lord Perumal.
